Description
Old Linslade Manor is an 18th-century house located in Linslade, previously known as Manor Farmhouse. The building is constructed of dark vitrified brick with pale red brick dressings, featuring a stone plinth and platband. It has a Welsh slated roof, and the chimney stacks have been rebuilt. The house is two storeys high and has five sash windows in nearly flush wide wooden frames, all set under flat arches with stepped keystones. The central stone door surround is notable for its rusticated pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a dentilled pediment, flanked by two full-height brick pilasters with moulded brick capitals. There are also two single-window lower wings.
