Description
Broad Oak Farmhouse is a house dated 1794, located in Soulbury. It features chequer brick construction with red brick quoins and surrounds around the openings, along with modillion eaves. The roof is made of old tiles and has flanking brick chimneys. The building is L-shaped with a lean-to of the same date at the rear, consisting of two storeys and an attic, and has three bays. The outer bays have paired barred sash windows, while the centre of the first floor has a single barred sash window, all framed with architraves. The ground floor openings have cambered heads. The central entrance has a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight, panelled reveals, and a rustic porch. There are single barred wooden attic casements in the gables. To the right, there is a single-storey kitchen extension with a slate roof and a sash window, and to the left, there is a single-storey outbuilding set back.
