Description

This barn, located approximately 80 metres north of Sheep Bridge Court Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a hipped roof made of old tiles. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of three framed bays, with one hipped aisle bay at each end. The original frame is well-preserved, featuring large jowl posts, queen post trusses, clasped purlins, and reducing principal rafters. Additionally, it includes large curved wind braces and knee braces.
