Description
Sindleham Mill is a water mill dating from the mid-19th century, altered in the 20th century and now used as a restaurant and club. The building is constructed of brick with a slate gabled roof. The south-west front has three storeys and eight bays. Each bay contains small sash windows on the second floor, and larger sash windows with glazing bars on the ground and first floors. Segmental headed brick recesses frame the openings in the four bays to the left and the two bays to the right. The fifth and sixth bays from the left feature a large segmental arch over the mill stream at ground floor level, and a similar arched recess on the first floor. A 20th-century door is located in the second bay from the left. The left gable has a horizontal boarded hoist cover over the top two floors, supported by plain brackets. Below this is a single-storey, 20th-century entrance and reception area.
