Description

This barn dates from the 18th century and is timber-framed, with weatherboard cladding and a tiled roof. It has five bays, featuring a central midstrey—a small projecting bay—with a gabled roof and pigeon holes. The barn has opposed wagon doors. The roof is a queen post clasped purlin design with arched wind braces. Long diagonal braces support the plates, and the timbers are relatively slender. Aisle additions have been made to the barn. It is listed partly as a group-valuable building in relation to nearby structures.
