Description

River Cottage is a small house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The exterior is roughcast and painted, topped with a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a road front with two bays of sash windows, the first-floor windows having glazing bars and all equipped with Venetian shutters. The central entrance door is six-panelled, with panelled reveals, an architrave surround, and a dentil cornice. There is also an old insurance plaque located at first-floor level.
