Description

Duart Cottage, formerly known as Pippin Cottage, is a cottage built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features brick dentil eaves and an old tile hipped roof, with a flanking chimney on the right side. The building stands two storeys tall.

The front of the cottage has a two-storey angular bay on the right, which includes sash windows with glazing bars and stuccoed aprons. To the left of the bay, there is a door sheltered by a board pediment hood supported by cut brackets. Additionally, there is an irregular one-bay casement window to the left of the door on the first floor, and a small pane casement window on the ground floor. The cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
