Description

Mill Green House and Gaunt House is a large house dating back to an earlier timber-framed structure, significantly altered in the early 19th century. The exterior is painted brick and render, topped by an old tile gabled roof. The two-storey road front is divided into sections. The central section has a gable featuring an early 20th-century carved bargeboard. Above is a pair of coupled sash windows with glazing bars, and below, a six-panelled entrance door set within a moulded architrave surround topped with a flat hood supported by cut brackets. To the left, there is one bay with coupled sash windows and glazing bars on both the first and second floors. To the right are three bays, also featuring sash windows with glazing bars on both upper floors.
