Description

Roadside Cottage is a small house dating from the 18th century. It features painted render and has an old tile roof with a brick chimney that has small pilasters and a moulded head at the ridge on the right. The building is two storeys high and has two bays of sash windows with glazing bars, framed by moulded architraves on both the ground and first floors. The entrance door, which is from the 20th century, is located to the right of centre and is sheltered by a flat hood supported by cut brackets. There is also a passage door to the right of this entrance, set in an opening with a semi-circular arched head.
