Description

The Pink Cottage is a house dating back to the 16th century, which was refaced in the 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The rear of the building retains a timber frame with brick infilling, while the front is a combination of brick and pebble dash. The roof is of old tiles, with a chimney featuring an offset head on the ridge to the left of centre and a further chimney to the right. The house has two storeys and an attic. The road front features a large gabled dormer on the right side, containing coupled sash windows with glazing bars. The lower floors have three bays, with four-pane sash windows, except for the upper right window, which features a coupled three-pane sash. The gable end to the south has a false timber framing, and there is an entrance door on the west side.
