Description

Linum Cottage is a small house built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features painted brickwork and an old tiled gabled roof, with a rectangular plan and two storeys. There are chimneys at each end of the roof. The front has a symmetrical arrangement of three bays, with sash windows that have glazing bars, segmental heads, and shutters. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented door case with fluted pilasters, leading to a six-panel door where the top two panels are glazed.
