Description
Ducks Nest Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped old tile roof, with a rectangular plan and two storeys. There is a chimney with an offset head located to the right of the centre on the ridge.
The north front has a flush vitreous brick string at the first floor level. Originally, there were five upper windows, but the second from the right is now blocked. The remaining windows include one three-light leaded casement and others that are two-light 20th-century casements. On the ground floor, there are three windows; the two on the right are 19th-century two-light casements with small panes, while the one on the left is a two-light 20th-century casement. The door is located in a 19th-century rustic porch, which is the second bay from the left.
