Description
Orchard Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and has a pantiled roof. The building features a former lobby entrance plan and stands two storeys high with four bays. The ground floor has four bowed 20th-century casement windows, and to the left, there are rusticated quoins surrounding the original doorway, which is now blocked. Above the door, there is a small two-light diamond mullioned window. The first floor has four additional 20th-century casement windows. The roof is gabled with a ridge stack located to the left, and the gables are shaped. There is a 20th-century porch and door on the south gable wall, situated beneath two 20th-century casements, and the north gable also features two 20th-century casements.
