Description
The Old Granary is a stable block dating from the mid-17th century that was converted into a house between 1983 and 1984. It is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth course. The central entrance door is flanked by a cart door to the right, which has been glazed under a stilted arch to create a French window. On the ground floor, there is one casement window, while the first floor has three casement windows. An external stack was added against the east gable in 1984. The rear wall is supported by two sloping buttresses, one of which is rendered. There is a door to the left and two 20th-century windows to the right in original horizontal frames. To the left of the door, there is a mullioned window in a 17th-century frame. The first floor on the left side showcases exposed timber studwork.
