Description

The garden wall to Holverston Hall, dating from the mid-16th century, is constructed of brick and is located to the south of the entrance. The wall features a plinth course and is supported at intervals by sloping buttresses. It has moulded coping bricks along the top. At the entrance to the drive, there are two circular finials with raised diamond and lozenge mouldings, each topped with a ball finial. These finials are re-used and lean against square section piers.
