Description
Manor Lodge is a lodge cottage built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped reed-thatched roof. The building has a T-shaped plan and is one storey high. The symmetrical south elevation consists of two bays, each with two 2-light casement windows that have Gothick heads. There are segmental brick arches above the openings and plain brick pilasters that separate the bays. A central chimney stack is located on the ridge line and has two diagonally-set square shafts. To the north, there is a wing that includes an entrance door with Gothick panelling in the west wall, along with 2-light casements that also have Gothick heads in segmental arched openings. A chimney stack at the north end features a single diagonally set shaft. The eaves are adorned with wooden trough guttering.
