GV II

Villa. c1840. Painted stucco, hipped slate roof. Rectangular plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 chimneys with clay pots. Sash windows. Entrance (south) front: 3 bays. Windows have moulded architraves with lion mask on key. Ground floor has canted bay on right with casement doors facing garden; casements at sides; cornice and blocking course. Central entrance door, probably imported, C20 door; C18 door-case with fluted pilasters, triglyph frieze with sunflowers and angel head in metopes. Lead rainwater heads of early C18 with decorative heads. INTERIOR: not inspected.
