Description

The Francis Monument is an early 19th-century chest tomb located east of the Fitzpatrick Monument in the churchyard of St Michael and All Angels in Sunninghill. It is made of stone and features a rectangular moulded base with corner pilasters that have gadrooned convex bases. The tomb has a moulded top and includes inscription panels on three sides. The inscriptions are heavily eroded, but there is a commemorative inscription on the south end that remains legible.
