Description
This building is a lodge, now functioning as a small house, dating from the early 19th century and altered and extended in the 20th century. It features painted roughcast walls and a pantiled gabled and half-hipped roof. The structure has an irregular plan with the gable facing the road. It is one storey and attic, with an additional storey. One end gable chimney has been cut down and fitted with a clay pot. The windows are casement style with pointed heads and gothic glazing bars above the transom. The entrance front, which faces west, has a one-bay gable on the left that overhangs a half-glazed entrance door, with one window on each side. The gable is supported by four slim wooden posts. There is a flat-roof extension projecting at an angle on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
