Description

No. 21 is a cottage located in Ashampstead, dating from the late 15th century, with a refacing from the 20th century. The building is timber framed and has a red brick facing, topped with an asbestos tile roof that features an end stack on the right and a gabled dormer with a two-light casement window also on the right. The cottage consists of two framed bays and is one storey high with an attic. There are two 20th-century casement windows flanking a half-glazed door that is off-centre to the left. Inside, the right-hand bay contains two crack trusses.
