Description
Pyt Cottages is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick and flint, featuring brick dressings, and has a timber frame with brick nogging. The roof is shingled, with a central ridge stack and two flat-topped 20th-century semi-dormers on the south side. The cottage has one framed bay and is one and a half storeys high. The south front includes three 20th-century metal casement windows, with a boarded door situated between the first and second windows from the left, and a half-glazed door to the right that is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. The timber frame with angle braces is exposed on the north side. There is also a single-storey brick and slate outbuilding from the 20th century attached to the east.
