Description

Two cottages, dating from the late 17th century, with alterations from the 19th century and 20th-century additions to the rear. They are constructed of flint with red brick dressings, featuring a plinth, lacing courses, a plat band, and chamfered reveals to all openings. The roof is of old tile, and there is a large central ridge stack with a square base and four diamond shafts. The cottages are two storeys and have a garret. On the first floor, there are three two-light diamond pane casements to the right, a leaded cross window to the left, and a blocked window between the first and second windows from the left. The ground floor features four two-light diamond paned casements, a 20th-century segmental headed half-glazed door to the left, and a boarded door off-centre, situated between the third and fourth windows from the left. These cottages hold group value, contributing to the character of the area.
