Description

This is a barn located at Kiln Farm, dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame with a brick plinth and is covered by a half hipped roof made of old tiles. On the north side, there is one half hipped and one raking projecting waggon entrance, while the south side has two hipped projecting waggon entrances. The barn consists of six framed bays with aisles, and there are opposed waggon entrances in the second and fifth bays. Inside, the barn has a double purlin roof supported by double rafters at the collar, along with transverse bracing.
