Description
Pond Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid to late 17th century, with 19th-century refacing and additions. It has a timber frame with a plinth and later added timber and rendered facing. The roof is tiled and half hipped to the right, featuring an end stack to the left and a catslide to the rear. There is a later addition to the right at the rear, which includes two gabled dormers. The cottage is one storey with a garret and has a 1½ storey addition. It consists of two framed bays and has two 2-light leaded casements with boarded shutters on either side of a central 2-leaf boarded door. The door is accompanied by a glazed and leaded window and a 20th-century gabled timber porch.
