Description
Little Orchard is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century refacing. It features a timber frame that has been later faced with brick. The roof is half hipped and covered with diamond asbestos slates, with a catslide to the rear and an off-centre ridge stack to the right, along with a raking semi-dormer to the right. The cottage has a lobby entrance type with two framed bays. It is one and a half storeys to the right and two storeys to the left. On the first floor, there is a two-light casement window to the left. The ground floor has two segmental-headed two-light casements flanking a half-glazed door, which is located beneath the off-centre stack to the right. There is also a 20th-century rustic gabled porch and a 20th-century lean-to addition set back to the right.
