Description
The Spring is a house dating from the late 16th century, with 20th-century additions. It features a timber frame with angled braces, a brick ground floor, plaster panels on the first floor, and a tile-hung gable end on the left side. The roof is made of old tiles and includes a catslide at the rear, with part of the roof on the right having slightly lower eaves. There is a central ridge stack and an off-centre ridge stack to the right. The house has three framed bays on the left and is two storeys tall. On the first floor, there are three 20th-century leaded casement windows with two lights each, and on the ground floor, there are four 20th-century leaded casements, including a canted bay window second from the left with a hipped tile roof. The entrance is located at the left-hand end of the building. Inside, there are contemporary fireplaces.
