Description
Froomes House is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, with a refacing from the mid 19th century and a gabled wing that is off-centre to the right. There is also a 20th-century addition to the right. The house is timber framed with angle bracing and has white painted brick nogging at the rear, along with a white painted brick addition and white painted brick facing at the front. It features a dentil brick eaves cornice beneath an old tile roof with end stacks. The house has three framed bays to the left and is two storeys high. On the first floor, there are three 2-light 20th-century casements, while the ground floor has two 19th-century sashes with segmental heads to the left and a large 3-light late 20th-century casement to the right. There is a segmental-headed 4-panelled door off-centre to the left, situated between the second and third windows from the left, which is sheltered by a gabled brick and timber porch. The wing to the right has a first-floor sash and a ground-floor 20th-century door.
