Description

The barn at Kiln Farm, located to the northwest of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber-frame construction consisting of six bays, with a narrow westward extension of two bays. The barn has projecting entrances on the south side at the second and sixth bays. It is supported by a queen post truss and has a red tile roof that is hipped above the doorways. The upper walls are boarded above the brickwork, while the smaller unit has an exposed frame with brick nogging on the north side.
