Description

No. 43 North Road is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, featuring both exposed and applied timber. The roof is thatched, and there is a rectangular red brick stack located behind the ridge to the right of the center. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has a three-unit lobby entry plan. The entrance features a six-panelled door from the 19th century. To the right, there are two fixed-light windows with glazing bars and one horizontal sliding sash window. Additionally, there are three casement eyebrow windows.
