39 North Road is a small cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage is a single storey and features a red brick chimney stack on the left side. There is a 20th-century closed porch at the entrance, which has a pantiled roof. The building has two windows that include glazing bars.
