Description
The Old House Cottage is a small cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, featuring some old pargetting, and has weatherboarding on the front elevation. The cottage has a thatched roof and a rectangular red brick ridge stack. There is a tarred brick plinth at the base. The building is one storey with an attic and follows a two-unit lobby entry plan. It has a boarded door and two horizontal sliding sash windows with shutters. The interior remains unaltered, including a staircase located in the northwest corner.
