Description

Milkwood is a house located on Chapel Street in Duxford, dating from the mid to late 17th century, with possible remodeling in 1776, as indicated by a dated panel on the front elevation. The building features a timber-framed structure that is plastered, with a brick plinth and a cedar shingled roof. It is two storeys tall and has a three-unit plan, with a stack positioned behind the ridge and a rear outshut. The house has three casement windows on both the first and ground floors, although the main entrance is now blocked. Inside, the interior showcases stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
