Description

No. 45 North Road is a 19th-century cottage that features clay lump plastering, a red brick plastered plinth, and a red brick ridge stack. The roof is covered with pantiles and the cottage stands two storeys tall. There is a 20th-century door on the left side, with three horizontal sliding sash windows on the ground floor and three recessed horizontal sliding sash windows on the first floor. The building is noted to have been a forge at one time and is included for its group value.
