Description
No. 4 Church End is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is timber framed and roughcast rendered, with part of the front wall cased in painted brick. The cottage features a rubblestone plinth and has a long straw thatch roof that is half hipped at the northeast end. There is a single flue red brick ridge stack that dates from the 18th to 19th century. The building is one storey with an attic and has two 19th-century horizontal sliding sash windows, along with a smaller window opposite the stack. Access is provided by two old stone steps leading to a boarded door.
