Description

No. 62 Rose Street is a cottage dating from the early 17th century, which has been altered and extended in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and an old tile gabled roof. The building consists of one framed bay with a rear extension and stands two storeys high, topped by a chimney on the ridge. The front of the cottage has exposed timber framing, with one bay containing a 20th-century three-light casement window that includes glazing bars. To the left, there is a 20th-century entrance door with a small plain hood. Inside, some of the timber framing is also exposed.
