Description

Church Cottage is a late 16th-century cottage with a timber frame and brick infill. The gable facing the road is tile hung, with a sole plate resting on a brick and flint plinth. It has a thatched roof with chimneys located off-centre to the right and rising from the rear wall. The thatch is swept around the upper-floor windows. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high, with two structural bays. There are irregular casement windows on the ground floor, and a door is located to the left of the centre. A single casement window is situated on the upper floor to the left of the centre.
