Description
Little Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1712, with alterations and extensions made in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features old tile hipped roofs, forming an L-plan with a rear extension. It has two storeys and attics, with a central chimney that includes a date panel marked "FP."
The entrance front has a brick plinth and a plat band from 1712. In the gabled attics, there are two 2-light casements with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two tripartite sash windows on either side of a narrow recessed area that is painted to resemble a window. The ground floor features two sash windows to the left of the entrance door and one tripartite sash to the right, all with glazing bars and rubbed brick heads, which are segmental on the ground floor. The entrance door is a 4-panelled design set within a doorcase that includes a pediment and pilasters with moulded heads and a cornice.
Inside, the farmhouse contains an early 18th-century staircase with turned newels and moulded handrails.
