Description
The building is a school and schoolhouse constructed in 1843, designed in a 'Tudor' style. It is two storeys high and features two windows. The roof is tiled and has large end stacks with diagonal flues. The walls are made of red brick, accented with flush blue diaper patterns, panels, and a band at the first floor. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway with a four-centred arch. Attached to the west side is a hall that has a gable front. The hall also has a steep tiled roof and is built of red brick with diaper patterns. It includes a large bay with a tiled roof, cill brackets, and windows with mullions and transoms. The doorway to the hall features a four-centred arch and has a plaque above it that is dated.
