Description

The Infant School, built in 1841, is a single-storey building located in Stratfield Saye. It features a symmetrical front with a window on each side of a slightly projecting centrepiece that includes the entrance. The low-pitched slate roof has a pediment above the centrepiece. The walls are made of brick in Flemish bond, and the windows have stucco architraves. The windows are casements, and the doorway has a cambered arch with a date plaque positioned above it. There are extensive modern additions at the rear of the building.
