Description
Great Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was rebuilt in the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick, with part of the end gable made of flint, and features an old tile hipped roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with attics, featuring three chimneys.
The front of the farmhouse has five bays and is adorned with a brick dentil eaves course and a plat band above the flint on the left-hand gable. The sash windows are set in architrave frames, complete with glazing bars and segmental brick arch heads. On the first floor, the first and third bays have wide sash windows, while the second and fifth bays are blocked and painted to resemble windows, and the fourth bay has a narrower sash window. On the ground floor, the first, third, and fifth bays also feature wide sash windows similar to those above, while the second and fourth bays contain six-panelled entrance doors with rectangular overlights and flat hoods supported by carved brackets.
Inside, the farmhouse includes an early 18th-century staircase with turned balusters and a moulded handrail.
