Description

Nos 148 and 150 on Southampton Street are a mid-19th century pair of houses that continue from Nos 142-146. They are 2½ storeys tall and constructed of red brick, featuring a stucco cornice and parapet, with a slate roof. The buildings have three bays, with the center set back. No 148 has a gabled attic, while No 150 has a half-hipped attic. Both houses have glazing bar sash windows and paired doors in the center that fill a recess, accompanied by plain porches. No 148 is distinguished by spearhead rails with ornamental bars on its gate.
