Description

Nos. 157 to 161 Southampton Street and No. 163, known as The Hop Leaf Inn, date from the late 18th century and have been altered. No. 163 features a stucco front with a brick block cornice and an old tile roof that is hipped to the left. There are three chimneys in total. The first floor of No. 163 has three glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has an early 20th-century pub front. Nos. 157 to 161 have altered first floor windows, one for each property, along with plain shopfronts.
