Description
Rose Cottage is an 18th-century building that has been altered over time. It is two storeys high and built of stucco. The first floor has two windows: a tripartite sash window to the left and a two-light casement window to the right. On the ground floor is a plain central door and a three-light casement window to the left. A single-storey wing was added to the right, topped with a cornice and blocking course. This wing includes two 20th-century two-light casement windows and a glazed door on a canted angle; historically, this section was an inn. The roof is tiled and features two dormers and large end stacks. Inside, studs of partitions are visible.
