Description

No. 7 Stoke Road is a 17th-century single-storey timber-framed building that has been extended or rebuilt at the road end with a two-storey section added in the late 18th century. The two-storey part features painted brick, a slate roof with header dentils at the eaves of the gable end, and two wooden casement windows on each floor facing the road. The original single-storey section is at right angles to the newer part and has a box frame with plastered wattle and daub infill. It includes 19th-century wooden casement windows and a plain door, topped with a corrugated iron roof. Nos. 5 and 7 Stoke Road form a group.
