Description

Sycamore Farmhouse is a mid-18th century two-storey brick house located on Drayton Road in Water Eaton. It features a gable end slate roof and moulded eaves, constructed with blue headers and pale red dressings. The building has six windows, which are nearly flush broad framed glazing bar sashes, with flat gauged brick arches on the ground floor and stretchers on the ends of the first floor. The entrance is the fourth opening from the left, consisting of a door with six incised panels set within a wooden doorcase that has plain pilasters and a cornice. Above the door is a shallow rectangular fanlight with marginal glazing.
