Description

Home Farmhouse is an early to mid-18th century house, potentially incorporating earlier fabric. It is constructed of brick in an irregular bond of hard red stretchers and blue headers, with pale red dressings. The house has a gable end roof covered in old tiles. The symmetrical front elevation has five windows, featuring nearly flush framed sashes with a moulded edge on the first floor. The low doorway is set within a wooden doorcase with reeded pilasters and a moulded triangular pediment. The door itself consists of six fielded panels, with two glazed panels. The first-floor rooms contain wattle and daub partitions.
