Description
Manor Farmhouse is a mid to late 17th century and early 18th century two-storey timber-framed farmhouse with brick nogging. The first floor features fairly close set studding. The south half and east side of the building have hipped roofs, while the north half on the east side has a gable end. The roof tiles display a diamond pattern. The south front has three 19th century wooden casement windows. The north front includes two 19th century wooden casement windows and a four-light early 18th century wooden mullioned window. The east front, dating from the late 18th century, has three windows with glazing bar sashes in flush architraves and a rectangular wooden bay window. The north block extends slightly to the west of the south block, with a 19th century entrance located in the angle. There is also a single-storey early to mid 19th century brick range with a slate roof extending to the west, which connects to a two-storey stable block of similar date that features hatches on the first floor.
