Description

The building is an outhouse to the rear of The Bull and Butcher Public House, located on Aylesbury Street in Fenny Stratford. The outhouse itself dates to circa 1840-50 and is a small, two-storey building constructed of red brick with a low gable end slate roof. It features a carriageway entrance and a small, canted pilastered shop window with an entablature that extends over the door. There are two flush-framed sash windows on the first floor.

Behind the main building stands a C17/C18 timber-framed stables or outhouse; brick fills the spaces between the exposed wall posts on the south side. This outhouse has a three-bay crown post roof with rough purlins and a slate roof, and it was formerly used as stables for the adjacent inn.

The main public house, "The Bull and Butcher," appears to be of late 18th century origin, and may be a re-facing of an earlier building. It is two storeys and attic in height, with stucco-faced brick construction. It has a steep gable end tiled roof with end stacks and two gabled dormers. An eaves band runs along the front. The symmetrical facade is arranged with three windows on the first floor, featuring recessed glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has two small canted bay windows with casements, and a modern doorway flanked by panelled strips and shaped brackets supporting a hood.
