Description

The bollards along the raised terrace of Number 60 on Watling Street in Fenny Stratford are cast iron cannon type bollards with slung chains between them. These bollards are positioned at the front of the terrace along the road. The raised terrace was established around 1830 when the road was realigned and lowered, following Telford’s suggestion after the demolition of cottages on the west side of Watling Street.
