Description

No. 5 Stoke Road is a mid-18th century, two-storey brick house with a gable end tiled roof. The brickwork is roughly in Flemish bond, featuring vitreous headers and red dressings, which are now painted. The house has a dentil eaves cornice and a nearly symmetrical front with three windows, the center one being blind. The windows are broad sashes set in wide, nearly flush frames, topped with gauged brick flat arches. The plain doorway has a crude flat hood. Nos. 5 and 7 Stoke Road form a group.
